Geoff Johns is an American screenwriter and producer who is best known for his association with DC Comics and the DC Extended Universe films. He started out on television, serving as a staff writer on shows like Teen Titans, Justice League Unlimited and Robot Chicken before venturing into feature film production as a co-producer in Green Lantern (2011). Johns has since served as an executive producer in the superhero films Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Suicide Squad (2016) and Wonder Woman (2017); and as a producer in Justice League (2017). He is also a proficient comic book writer and retailer and is credited with writing several comic book stories and graphic novels for both Marvel and DC. In 2020 he worked as an executive producer for Birds of Prey. His 2021 release includes Wonder Woman 1984.
