George Richard Ian Howe, well known as George Fenton, is an English film composer, best known for his works in the BBC Series The Blue Planet And Planet Earth. Fenton, born on October 19th, 1950, began his music career in 1971 with Private Road. Since then Fenton has worked on movies and TV shows like The Company of Wolves (1984), 84 Charing Cross Road (1987), Cry Freedom (1987), Dangerous Liaisons (1988), The Long Walk Home (1990), The Trials of Life(1990), The Fisher King (1991), Life In the Freezer(1993), Shadowlands (1993), Groundhog Day (1993), Ladybird Ladybird (1994), Land and Freedom (1995), Dangerous Beauty (1998), My Name Is Joe (1998), Ever After: A Cinderella Story (1998), You`ve Got Mail (1998), The Blue Planet (2001-2002), Sweet Sixteen (2002), Mrs Henderson Presents (2005), The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006), Planet Earth (2006), Life (2009-2010), Frozen Planet (2011-2012), The Angels Share (2012), The Lady in the Van (2015), I, Daniel Blake (2016) and China: Between Clouds and Dreams (2016).
