George P. Cosmatos was a Greek film director and screenwriter who following his success with drama films such Massacre in Rome directed several films like The Beloved (1970), The Cassandra Crossing (1976), Of Unkown Origin (1983), Corba (1986), and Shadow Conspiracy (1997).
