George Pius Tharayil is an Indian movie producer who started his career as an executive and line producer in 2002. Making his debut as an executive producer, he was associated with Mitr: My Friend, which starred Shobana, Nassar Abdulla and Preeti Vissa. He also worked as a line producer on a number of movies such as Phir Milenge, Malamaal Weekly, Chup Chup Ke, Yaavarum Nalam, and 13B: Fear Has a New Address. Meanwhile, he has been the executive producer of Kireedam, 180, and Billa 2. He then made his debut as a producer in 2015 with the movie Papanasam, following which he produced the 2017 Malayalam drama thriller Careful. His 2019 releases include MEI and The Body.
