George Strait is an American singer, songwriter, actor. He is known for his neotraditionalist countrystyle, cowboy look. His success began when his first single "Unwound" was a hit in 1981. During the 1980s, seven of his albums reached number one on the country charts. He has been worked for more than 22 films in his career which include both movies and television series. Some of his credits include Nebraska, George Strait: For the Last Time - Live from the Astrodome and Showgirls.
