Gerard Rudolf is a South African actor and poet. Born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa, he went to drama school and then joined a drama company through which he took part in Shakespeare plays. In 1991 he started a theatre company called Makeshift Moon and in 1992 became the head of drama at CityVarsity in Cape Town. In 2002 he moved to the UK and continued his acting and theatre work over there. He is known for his work on movies like Boy Called Twist (2004), Inescapable (2012) and The Siege of Jadotville (2014). He also starred in Chander Pahar (2013).
