The man who began doing standup comedy as a teenager at the age of 15 went on to become one of the faces of American comedy and one of the most successful voice-over artists in children`s entertainment, Gilbert Gottfried is an American comedian, actor, and voice actor. He was associated with Saturday Night Live (SNL) for a single season from 1980 to `81. Following his stint with SNL, Gottfried majorly established himself as a voice actor and was associated with TV shows such as Superboy (1990), Bonkers (1993 - `95), Aladdin (1994 - `95), Beavis and Butthead (1994), and Disney`s House of Mouse (2003). However, one of his most successful projects as a voice actor came with the American-Canadian animated TV series Cyberchase wherein Gottfried voiced the character of `Digit LeBoid`.
Gottfried has also voiced the character of Iago The Parrot in Aladdin (1992), Aladdin: The Return of Jafar (1994), and Aladdin and the King of Thieves (1996). His other movie credits include Problem Child (1990), Dr. Dolittle (1998, voice: Compulsive Dog), Lemony Snicket`s A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014), Life, Animated (2016), and Animal Crackers (2017, voice: Mario Zucchini).
