Ginger Rogers was an American actress, dancer and singer, known for her footwork with Fred Astaire. She started her career in vaudeville circuit and Broadway before pursuing acting. She is famous for her work in the films as well as TV series like The Major and the Minor, Shall We Dance, Bob Hope: The First Ninety Years and Legends of the Screen. She won an Academy Award in Best Actress Category. She died at the age of 83 years.
