Scottish film and television actor Graham McTavish is best familiar to the audience for portraying Dwalin in The Hobbit film trilogy (2012-'14), Dougal Mackenzie in the hit tv series Outlander (2014-) and The Saint of Killers in Preacher (2016-). Since his feature film debut in 1988, McTavish has appeared in over thirty movies and more than fifty tv shows, primarily in character roles. He is also a seasoned voice artist, and has voiced characters in several video games and shows.

Other significant acting credits include Rambo (2008), the tv show 24 (2001-'10), the sports drama Creed (2015), the historical drama-thriller The Finest Hours (2016) and the superhero movie Aquaman (2018).
