Grant Heslov`s Hollywood career spans over three decades, during which he has enjoyed considerable success as a filmmaker, screenwriter, actor and Academy Award winning film producer. He started out as an actor in the 1985 film The Journey of Natty Gann, and subsequently appeared in supporting roles in acclaimed films like True Lies (1994), The Birdcage (1996) and Enemy of the State (1998) before making his directorial debut with the comedy-drama Par 6 (2002). The 2003 romantic-comedy Intolerable Cruelty marked Heslov`s debut as a film producer, while the Academy Award nominated historical drama Good Night, and Good Luck (2005) was his maiden outing as a screenwriter. Heslov is known for his frequent collaborations with actor-director George Clooney, and the two have worked together in films like The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009), The Ides of March (2011), The Monuments Men (2014) and Suburbicon (2017). He also co-produced the Oscar winning historical drama Argo (2012) with Clooney and Ben Affleck. Other significant production credits include Leatherheads (2008), August: Osage County (2013) and Money Monster (2016). His 2020 release includes The Midnight Sky, directed by George Clooney.
