Popularly known as Gullu Dada among his admirers, comedian and actor Adnan Sajid Khan started out as a stage singer in the 1990s. He got his big break when he essayed the role of Gullu Dada in the hit 2007 comedy FM - Fun Aur Masti, an iconic character of Deccani cinema that he has since reprised in several movies. Adnan is currently one among the most sought-after actors of what is popularly referred to as Deccanwood - a Hyderabad-based film industry which releases films in a local language that is a mix of Hindi and Hyderabadi.
