Gundu Hanumantha Rao is an Indian actor, who works in the Telugu film industry. He made his debut in Aha Naa Pellanta (1987), and became famous for his comedian roles in SV Krishna Reddy films. His films from that period are Prema (1989), Kobbari Bondam (1991), Gharana Alludu (1994) and Annamayya (1997). His role as a sharp, out of the box thinking man in the serial Amruthan (2001) was well-recieved. Rao has also starred in Golmaal (2003), Seshari Naidu (2004), Athadu (2005) and Pelli Kani Prasad (2008). He later appeared in Jayammu Nischayammuraa (2011), Colors (2013) and Ila Choodu Okasaari (2014). His upcoming films are Rowdy Gari Pellam, slated to release in February 2015, and Panchamukhi.
