Gurdeep Singh Sappal is the Chief Executive Officer and Editor-in-Chief of the Rajya Sabha TV in India. He also aids and acts as the political advisor to the Vice President of India and holds the designation of the Officer on Special Duty. Sappal produced a ten-part television series Samvidhaan: The Making of the Constitution of India (2014– ). The show reconstructs how the constitution of India was created and was directed by Shyam Benegal. In 2017 Sappal produced director Tigmanshu Dhulia’s historical drama, Raag Desh.
