H.M. Reddy, also known as Hanumappa Muniappa Reddy, is an Indian director and producer in the early Telugu film industry. He was the first director and producer of Telugu cinema industry. He started his career as a director with the talkie film Kalidas. He also produced films under the banner of Rohini pictures limited. His first movie under this banner was Gruhalakshmi. His other famous movies are Barrister Parvateesam, Nirdoshi etc. He died on January 14, 1960 at the age of 67 years.
