An Indian cinematographer, director, and producer, Hafiz Ismail is noted for his work in Malayalam cinema. Having started his career as a director of photography with the 2013 movie, Black Ticket, the cinematographer-turned-director made his directorial debut with Oru Soppetty Katha, which released in November 2013. The movie also was Hafiz` maiden production venture. His 2017 project includes Kombay, a Tamil romance thriller starring Arun Charles, Theertha, and Prithvi Rajan. His 2020 release includes Thakkol Pazhuthu.
