American actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld started her showbiz journey at the age of 8, appearing in several short films and tv shows like Back to You and Summer Camp before making her feature film debut in True Grit (2010). For her performance in the movie, Steinfeld was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 13. Subsequently, she appeared in pivotal roles in popular movies like Ender`s Game (2013), Begin Again (2014) and Pitch Perfect 2 (2015) before landing the maiden Golden Globes nomination of her career for her performance in the coming-of-age comedy-drama The Edge of Seventeen (2016).
