Hakeem Kae-Kazim is a British-Nigerian film and television actor. The actor spent his childhood in Lagos, Nigeria and later his family moved to London. During his school days, he was bitten by the acting bug and joined The National Youth Theatre. Further, he continued his training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He made a successful space for himself in the British Television circle by appearing in shows like The Bill (1988) and Trial & Retribution (1997). His role in the Academy Award-nominated Hotel Rwanda (2004) was a game-changing one in his career. The humongous success of the film helped him get a few bigger opportunities.
He then appeared in the blockbusters like Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Simultaneously, he was doing hit television shows such as Lost, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, 24, Criminal Minds, and Black Sails. Some of his other notable films are The Fourth Kind (2009), Black Gold (2011), Last Flight to Abuja (2012), and Half of a Yellow Sun (2013). Hakeem has also done the voice-over for television, radio, and video games.
