A hitmaker who has enjoyed tremendous box office success since his debut movie, Haneef Adeni is a filmmaker and writer who works in Malayalam cinema. He started out in the industry by writing and directing the thriller The Great Father (2017) starring Mammootty, which turned out to be a hit.

Following this, Haneef penned yet another thriller starring Mammootty, titled Abrahaminte Santhathikal (2018) and directed by Shaji Padoor. The film turned out to be one of the biggest hits of 2018. In the following year, he made his sophomore outing as a director with the action thriller Mikhael (2019), which starred Nivin Pauly in the lead role.
