Belonging to an illustrious family of theatre artists, Harish Prabhat started acting in Kannada plays at the age of 12. He participates in Prabhath Kalavidaru productions, Shree Rama Prateeksha, Cinderella, Shree Krishna Vyjayanthi, Mahishasura Mardhini, Vijayanagara Vaibhava, Mohini Bhasmasura, Uttaragograhana, Hari Sarvothama, Kindari Jogi, Karunada Vaibhava, Bhagavad Gita and Bharatha Bahubali.

He has done major Dance performances in almost all parts of India and abroad. Trained under his father Shri. Venkateshachar, he has about 20 years experience in back stage work and sound engineering. He acted as an actor in film like Khushi, Mellusire Savigaana, SLV and Made in Bengaluru. He has acted in Television Serials like Seethe, Maunaraaga, Mane Ondu Muru Bagilu, Kadana, Brundavana, Nammamma Sharade, Munjavu, Prerana, Shubhamangala and Deepavu Ninnade Gaaliyu Ninnade, Dasa Purandara. He is currently acting in a serial Shambhavi.
