Harish Shah was an Indian film director, producer and writer who predominantly worked in the Hindi film industry. He made his Bollywood debut as a producer with the film Dil Aur Mohabbat (1968). In 1972, Shah`s Mere Jeevan Saathi that stars Rajesh Khanna and Tanuja in lead roles became a massive hit followed by Feroz Khan starrer Kaala Sona (1975). His directorial debut came with the film Dhan Daulat (1980) that stars Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in pivotal roles. He had been a part of movies like Ram Tere Kitne Naam (1985), Zalzala (1988) and Ab Insaf Hoga (1995) while his last project includes Jaal: The Trap (2003). Harish Shah passed away in July 2020.
