Harold Becker is a Hollywood veteran director and producer. Born on the 25th of September, 1928, Harold studied art and photography at the Pratt Institute. As a career path, he took up still photography but later took up directing television commercials, short films and documentaries. Harold made his directorial debut in 1962 with the short film The Birds, which he also produced. His first mainstream movie was the 1972 movie The Ragman`s Daughter.
He went on to direct films like City Hall (1996) and
Mercury Rising (1998). He last directed the 2001 thriller titled Domestic Disturbance. In 2017, he acted as an executive producer for the action-thriller film Vengeance: A Love Story.
