Harry W. Gerstad is a film editor and director from an American base. He started his career as a laboratory assistant in the film studios and later made his transition into an editor and occasional director. He made his editorial works in nearly 40 films including The Spiral Staircase,Crossfire,Rocketship X-M, and Batman. He made his directorial credits in few episodes of television series like Adventures of Superman. He received an academy award and American Cinema Editors Career Achievement Award for his editing works.
