Hemanth Krishnappa, known mononymously as HeMan, is an Indian actor, filmmaker, screenwriter and producer. Born in Bangalore, HeMan completed his higher education in the United States and spent the early years of his acting career appearing in minor roles in Hollywood films like Up in the Air (2009) and Joint Body (2011). Besides acting, he has also ventured into production, and has served as an executive producer on several of the short films he appeared in. 7 Minutes (2012), Stopping Before We Go (2013) and I Can't Be Dead (2017) are some of the actor's notable short film credits. In 2018, HeMan debuted as a writer-director with the Kannada thriller film Uddishya, which he also starred in.
