A critically acclaimed cinematographer, Hemant Chaturvedi started his career with Ram Gopal Varma`s Company in 2002 and has managed to garner immense praise with his first project itself. Soon after his debut project, he went on to work with notable director Vishal Bhardwaj on two of his projects back-to-back - Makdee and Maqbool, both of which were critically acclaimed movies.

Next, he was associated with the National Film Award-winning movie 15 Park Avenue directed by Aparna Sen. He then worked on movies such as Anthony Kaun Hai, Kurbaan, Ishaqzaade, Ungli, and Brothers before he decided to move on from the film industry to collate his content as a still photographer. Since then, he has been working on a series of photo essays, photo books, and solo photography exhibitions.
