Henning Lohner is a German born American composer and filmmaker born in Berlin, Germany. He is well known for his work with musical maestro Hans Zimmer. His film credits as a composer include The Ring (2002), Mimic 3: Sentinel (2003), Incident at Loch Ness (2004) and The Ring Two (2005). More recently he worked on Turtle: The Incredible Journey (2010) and Detour (2013). As a filmmaker, his credits include Stockhausen: Lichtwerke (1998), Hollywood Halloween (1997), and Ninth November Night (2004). He is also a guest professor at Zurich Academy for Music and Theatre in his free time. He has also made his name as a multimedia artist in films like `Peefeeyatko`, `The Black Box of Culture` and `In a Metal Mood`.
