Herbert Stothart was a songwriter, arranger, conductor and composer. He was born on September 11, 1885 in (United States). He was Veteran composer for the MGM studio who wrote and arranged music for the film The Wizard of Oz. He was first hired by producer Arthur Hammerstein to be a musical director for touring companies of Broadway shows.
