Having started his career in the film industry under the guidance of his father, Ashok Dhanuka, Himanshu Dhanuka is an Indian film producer who primarily works in Bengali cinema. Known for being the producer of Bhalobasha Bhalobasha (2008), which was the first Bengali film to be shot outside Asia and South East Asia, Himanshu carved a niche for himself in the Bengali film industry and delivered several blockbuster hits. Some of his notable production ventures include Hero 420, Prem Ki Bujhini, Badsha The Don (2016), and Doob - The Bed of Roses (2017), a Bengali drama directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki. He is associated with the 2018 Bengali romantic comedy Chalbaaz directed by Joydeep Mukherjee.
