Himjyoti Talukdar is an independent filmmaker and writer from Assam. His directorial debut, Calendar (2018), and his second feature, Taarikh (2025), earned critical acclaim and festival recognition. His third feature, Moromor Deuta, released in 2026 and is adapted from a celebrated novel by Dr Bhabendra Nath Saikia.
