Hitu Kanodia was born on 21st February 1970 to legendary actor Padma Shri Naresh Kanodia. He began his career as a child artist and has since appeared in over 100 Gujarati & Hindi films. He is recognized for his contributions to the regional film industry, often starring in romantic and family-centric movies.

As a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kanodia has actively participated in state politics. Legislative Roles: He served as a Member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Idar constituency between 2017 and 2022.

Mr Kanodia has won many Gujarat state awards as best actor, and his film Vash won a national award in best Gujarati film category.

He is married to fellow Gujarati actress Mona Thiba (since 2014), and they have one son named Rajvee Kanodia.
