Honey Trehan is a Bollywood casting director, producer, and assistant director, who is associated with the industry for more than two decades. During his initial days, Honey Trehan assisted filmmakers like Vishal Bhardwaj and Abhishek Chaubey in films like Makdee (2002), Maqbool (2003), Omkara (2006), Kaminey (2009), Dedh Ishqiya (2014), and Udta Punjab (2016) to name a few. He acted as the creative producer for the film Talvar (2015) directed by Meghna Gulzar. Honey Trehan also launched his company MacGuffin Pictures in 2015 and produced their first venture A Death In The Gunj (2016) a drama thriller directed by Konkona Sen Sharma. He took up the role of an assistant director for films like Aakrosh (2010), Delhi Belly (2011), 7 Khoon Maaf (2011), Mausam (2011), Commando (2013), Holiday (2014), Raees (2017), and Fukrey Returns (2018), among others. Honey Trehan`s 2019 projects include Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Sonchiriya, and Commando 3. Honey Trehan marked his directorial debut with the film Raat Akeli Hai (2020) starring Nawazuddin Siddique and Radhika Apte.
