An Iranian-born, English screenwriter, director, and producer, Hossein Amin made his debut as a writer with the TV movie, The Dying of the Light (1992). Some of his other notable writing credits include Deep Secrets (1996), Killshot (2008), Shanghai (2010), Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), 47 Ronin (2013), The Two Faces of January (2014), Our Kind of Traitor (2016) and The Snowman (2017), a British crime thriller directed by Tomas Alfredson.
