Tehran`s University of Dramatic Arts alumna, Hossein Jafarian is an award-winning Iranian cinematographer. Although he started his career in 1984 with a movie titled Tatooreh, his breakthrough came with the 1992 drama Nargess. Known for his realistic lighting style, Jafarian has been associated with other movies like Crimson Gold, Fireworks Wednesday, Gold and Copper, and The Salesman.
