Hugh Welchman has worked as a producer for several short films like The Most Beautiful Man in the World, The Clap, Isan Poika, Fat Hamster, Chopin`s Drawings and Scarecrow, to name a few. He was the associate producer for the animation comedy film Free Jimmy in 2006. He then went on to be the producer for the animated family adventure The Flying Machine in 2011, directed by Martin Clapp and Geoff Lindsey. His 2017 production venture includes the biographical animated drama Loving Vincent, which revolves around the life of painter Vincent van Gogh. Written and directed by him and Dorota Kobiela, the movie features Douglas Booth and Robert Gulaczyk in the lead roles.
