Hugo Friedhofer was an American music composer who started playing Cello at the age of 13. Friedhofer was born on May 3, 1901 in San Francisco, California and died at the age of 80 on May 17, 1981 in Los Angeles, California. He was appointed as a cellist for People's Symphony Orchestra after he completed his classes from University of California, Berkley. His works include Beauty and The Beast, Siciliano and Animal World.
