Ian Somerhalder is an American actor, model and director. Somerhalder is known for playing as a Boone Carlyle in the TV drama, Lost and as a Damon Salvatore in The CW's supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries. Before he took a leap in the film industry, Somerhalder began modeling at age 10, modeled for Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabanna, Gucci, Versace and Guess. His first television appearance is in “Young Americans” as Hamilton Fleming in 2000. Somerhalder’s other notable works includes, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, Pulse, The Rules of Attraction and Vampire Diaries.
