An Indonesian actor, stuntman, fight choreographer, and martial artist, Iko Uwais was discovered in 2007 by director Gareth Evans for his martial art movie Merantau, that released in 2009. He further collaborated with the director again for The Raid (2012) and The Raid 2 (2014). His other notable works are Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Headshot (2016), Beyond Skyline (2017), the Night Comes For Us (2018), Triple Threat (2018), before he was a part of Mile 22 (2018).
