An Indian stage, television and film actress, Ila Bhate has been in the entertainment business for more than thirty years. The actress started her career as a theatre artist, Apradhi being her first of many plays. She is known for Marathi drama and plays such as Janma Rahasya, U-Turn, Mi Majhya Mulancha, and Barrister.

Bhate, then, ventured into television and cinema, where she made her small screen debut with the serial Damini. The actress went on to act in many Marathi serials such as Asambhav, Eka Lagnachi Dusari Goshta, Radha Hi Bawari, and Agnihotra.

She has also acted in films, mostly Marathi, such as Chingi, Swarajya, Taani, Premsutra, Astu, and Saad.

Her other projects include Baji, Bugadi Maazi Sandali Ga, Dhol Taashe and What`s Up Lagna.
