In a Hollywood career spanning over three decades, Ilona Herzberg has been associated with the making of over a dozen movies, both as a producer and production executive. Notable among these are the adventure thriller The River Wild (1994), the post-apocalyptic sci-fi action movie Waterworld (1995), the historical political thriller Thirteen Days (2000) and the political thriller The Manchurian Candidate (2004).

More recently, Herzberg was associated with the production of the romantic comedy It`s Complicated (2009), the comedy-drama We Bought a Zoo (2011), the vigilante action thriller Death Wish (2018) and the comedy The Hustle (2019).
