The son of actors Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak, Imaad Shah is a musician and actor who works primarily in Bollywood. Since his acting debut in Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota (2006), he has appeared around a dozen movies, notable among which are Dil Dosti Etc (2007), Dhobi Ghat (2011), the political thriller The Reluctant Fundamentalist (2012) and the road movie M Cream (2014).

Imaad is also a bona fide musician, and is the frontman of the Mumbai-based rock band 'The Pulp Society'. Notable among the movies he has served as a playback, lyricist or music director for are the psychological thriller 404: Error Not Found (2011), the mystery thriller Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015) and the comedy-drama Karwaan (2018).
