Imran Zahid is Mahesh Bhatt`s discovery and has already made it big in the industry and has gained a lot of popularity. He started his career as a theatre artist with Arvind Gaur, while he was still in university. Initially supposed to act in Mahesh Bhatt`s Chandu, before it was shelved, Zahid played the role of a narcotics detective in Jism 2 (2012), and acted in The Last Salute (2015). Apart from this, he has worked in numerous plays among which are theatre renditions of Mahesh Bhatt`s films like Arth, Daddy and Hamari Adhuri Kahani before being associated with Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain (2018).
