Born on 8th of August, 1983 at Sant Kabir Nagar (UP) in a humble family, Irshad Khan Sikandar, in a very short time, has carved out a niche for himself in Urdu, Hindi and Bhojpuri literary and cultural scenario. In the sky of Urdu literature and quality national and international Mushayras Irshad has shown like a meteor and continues to shine further. Apart from being a top class poet, Irshad possesses valuable experience of acting, voice over, script writing and editing. He currently resides in Delhi and is associated with Hindi magazine 'Lafz' as sub editor. 'Jaun Elia ka Jin' is Sikandar's latest work that is going to be staged on 4th April 2020 under the direction of Ranjit Kapoor and is a production of Harfkaar Foundation.
