Ishmeet is a 25-year-old rapper-songwriter from Navi Mumbai. During the 2020 lockdown, amid job loss and uncertainty, he found himself leaning to music for support. He always enjoyed writing the occasional verse to vent, but over the lockdown, he was able to amplify that into actual song-writing. He found himself a mic, started writing songs, and recorded them on Garageband in his room. What started as a way to escape and chill, made its way to become a fundamental source of creative expression.
Inspired by heavy metal and death metal, he experimented with the texture of his vocals and focussed on creating a unique sound with his music.
