J.B. Smoove is an American actor, hip-hop dancer, and comedian who is best known for his role as Leon Black on the HBO comedy series, Curb Your Enthusiasm. He began his career as dancer and soon made his acting debut in the film, Lesser Prophets. Some of his other notable appearances in films include With or Without You and The Dictator. He has won the Writers Guild of America Award and an Emmy Award for his performance in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
