Golden Globe award-winning music composer, Johann Johannsson has been active in the theatre, dance, TV, and film industries. Johannsson who began his solo career in 2002, has released several albums including Dis, IBM 1401, A User`s Manual, Fordlandia, and Orphee. In 2012, he scored the music for Lou Ye`s Chinese drama film Mystery, winning the Golden Horse Award for Best Original Film Score. In the following year, Johannsson was roped-in to work on Denis Villeneuve`s Prisoners. However, one of the best works of his career came with the 2014 movie The Theory of Everything for which he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score and was also nominated for the Academy and BAFTA Award. His other successful projects include Sicario (2015), Arrival (2016), and Mother! (2017).
