Jaidev was an Indian Music Composer, Dialogue Writer, Assistant Music Director and Playback Singer. His work include Reshma aur Shera, Ankahee, Gaman, Prem Parbat, Hum Dono, Gharonda etc. He was born in the year 1919 in Nairobi, Kenya. He won National Award for Best Music Direction, in the year 1972 for Reshma Aur Shera , 1979 for Gaman and 1985 for Ankahee. He won National Film Award in the year 1978 for Best Music Direction for Gaman. He died in January 1987 in Mumbai, India.
