The Swedish-born Danish actor Jakob Cedergren is a film and television star who began his career in 1998. After several popular stints in Scandinavia, on the small and big screen, Cedergren gained praise for his work in Dark Horse (2005) which was screened at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. He was internationally recognized for his portrayal of a police officer who answers an emergency call from a kidnapped woman in The Guilty (2018). The acclaimed film went on to be Denmark`s submission under the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 91st Academy Awards. His other notable credits include Terribly Happy (2008), Submarino (2010) and the Swedish crime series The Sandhamn Murders (2010 - 2018).
