James Sebastian Faulkner is an English actor who has gained popularity for his varied appearances in television and films, most often in supporting roles. After his big screen debut as Josef Strauss in The Great Waltz in 1972, he appeared in numerous movies like Whispering Death (1976), All the Little Animals (1998), Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), I Capture the Castle (2003), Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004), Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London (2004), The Good Shepherd (2006), The Bank Job (2008), Machotaildrop (2009), X-Men: First Class (2011), Bridget Jones's Baby (2016) and Underworld: Blood Wars (2016). He has also made television appearances in Hazell (1978-1979), Da Vinci's Demons (2013-2015), Downton Abbey (2010-2015) and Game of Thrones (2016- ). In 2017 Faulkner starred in director David Leitch's Atomic Blonde.
