James Hype, born on October 6, 1994, is a renowned British DJ, producer, and remixer hailing from Liverpool. With his debut remix of Clean Bandit's ''Rockabye'' in 2016, James Hype quickly gained recognition in the dance music scene. He has since released a series of chart-topping remixes, including his popular take on Drake's ''One Dance'', and his first original single ''More Than Friends'' featuring Kelli-Leigh. James Hype has performed at some of the world's biggest festivals and clubs, and hosts a weekly radio show on Kiss FM UK. He has been nominated for Best Single and Best Remixer at the 2018 DJ Awards.
