Janani Iyer is an Indian actress who primarily works in the Tamil and Malayalam film industries. She started her career with minor roles in the movies Thiru Thiru Thiru Thiru (2009) and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010). Janani also worked in films like Avan Ivan (2011), Paagan (2012), 3 Dots (2013) and Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal (2014), Koothara (2014), and Ithu Thaanda Police (2016). In 2017, the actress appeared in the Malayalam thriller drama Machuka directed by Jayan Vannery. She is also associated with the 2017 movie Balloon directed by Sinish Sreedharan. She is also associated with the 2018 comedy-thriller Vidhi Madhi Ultaa directed by Vijay Balaji.
