After having started her acting career on television with the show Lollu Sabha, Jangiri Madhumita made her movie debut with Oru Kal Oru Kannadi in 2012. For her performance in her debut movie, she won the Vikatan Award for Best Actress in Comedy Role. She was then seen in movies such as Attakathi (2012), Raja Rani (2013), Tenaliraman (2014), Demonte Colony (2015), and Kaashmora (2016). Her 2017 projects include Enga Kaattula Mazhai, Aakko, and Machan. He is also associated with the 2018 Tamil action-comedy-drama Kathadi directed by Kalyaan, starring Dhansika and Daniel Annie Pope in lead roles.
